\Kawawachikamach, QC — The Naskapi Development Corporation is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs and business owners in our community. In partnership with the Société du Plan Nord and Ethos Stratégie d’affaires responsables, a free Support Program for Indigenous Suppliers is currently underway — and there’s still time to join.

The program is designed to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacities of Indigenous suppliers so they can effectively compete for contracts in the northern mining industry. Whether you are an established business owner or exploring new opportunities, these workshops offer practical knowledge and strategic guidance to help position your company for long-term success.
Two sessions remain, each running approximately two days in person at the Naskapi Development Corporation (1007 Naskapi Road, Kawawachikamach):
Session 2 — March 31 & April 1 Analysis of business opportunities and barriers to entry in the Nordic mining market.
Session 3 — June 2 & 3 Building your value proposition and positioning your company effectively within mining supply chains.
Virtual attendance via Teams is available upon request. Meals and a cold buffet are provided during in-person sessions — and the program is completely free, offered through the Société du Plan Nord.
Spots are limited. To register or for more information, contact Martin Loiselle at martin.loiselle@spn.gouv.qc.ca or (418) 655-8542.
